Greets all.
I have one of the newer? P4P800 Deluxe motherboards with a passive heatsink on the northbridge that is NOT turned at a 45 degree angle and says ASUS across it. It works great, but I've run into a problem...bought a Radeon 9800 with a Thermaltake heat pipe on it and the northbridge heat sink is about 1/8" too wide for me to install the AGP card!
Any suggestions on what I could replace this northbridge heatsink with that would provide the same (if not better) cooling performance. Also, beyond the fastening clips, is there thermal tape or adhesive that I need to worry about when removing the 'sink?
TIA!
Joe
