Removed the ihs off an e6400

I removed the ihs off my e6400, but now i cant get good contact with the waterblock.

but it does boot and run so i didn't kill it
 
Yes, a number have done this.

I do not believe it's a terribly smart thing to do...but i guess you did your research before doing this.

Or maybe you didn't...😕
 
The few times I've seen people show their temps before and after removing the IHS they didn't get any improvement.
