Removed partition that game was on, now I can't reinstall it! (edited Registry too)

I had all my games on a partition. I blew that partition away, installed a new drive and tried to reinstall Splinter Cell. The option for "Install" was not there.

I tried uninstalling the game (not that it's really THERE anymore) and it wont' go b/c it "can't find file XYZ" Of course not, I blew it away! :|

I went into the registry and deleted all the Ubi Soft folders. Went into All Users profile and deleted anything Ubi Soft/Tom Clancy/Splinter Cell.

I'm still stuck. I don't want to have to reinstall Windows just for this!

you can get a registry monitor from www.sysinternals.com and see what it's checking while it's trying to install.

I did the ultimate reg edit; I wiped and reinstalled. No more worries.
