Removed Floppy...MS DOS MODE??

Hello,

I just removed my floppy from my computer and disabled the controller in the bios and set the floppy to NONE in the bios also.
But now when I boot to Windows Me, it says that the floppy drive is running in MS MODE. And in My Computer, it shows a 5.25 floppy. Anybody got any clues on how to remove the floppy so windows doesn't try using the ghost drive that doesn't exist?I have removed the checkmark that says search for a new floppy upon starting windows and it didn't help.

well, even when disabled, windows is always going to show a floppy (at least in my experience). so as long as it doesn't bug you too much, you should leave it there.
