Remove XP Pro log viewer creation named "Internet Explorer"

I found when removing IE7 for a friend that there was an "Internet Explorer" entry left in the Event Viewer. Right click/Delete is not an option for removal.

Application, Security, and System are all that should be there, but stupid IE7 left something behind.

I know I've done it before, but does anyone know how to remove a rogue log viewer entry in the Event Viewer for Windows XP?

Registry Key that lists all the Event Logs:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\Eventlog

You MIGHT be able to delete the appropriate Key and make it disappear. Of course, Windows might disappear, too......You decide.
