Remove Windows Vista logo from logon screen

I customized my Vista logon screen using Stardock LogonStudio. However, Vista still splashes it's logo across the bottom of the logon screen over my image. Does anyone know if there is any way for the Vista logo to be hidden or otherwise ripped out?

Try this:

All you have to do is type msconfig into the start menu search box, and hit enter.

Click the Boot tab, and then check the ?No GUI boot? checkbox.

That just changed the status screen while the machine is booting. I'm looking to change the logon screen.

Or this one which brings back the XP style Ctrl+Alt+Del Logon Screen

Note also that the site has a forum, where you might find the answer
if what is suggested does not do what you wanted to do.
Lots of good tips on that site

I already had the Welcome Center disabled and secpol.msc is not installed on Home versions of Vista  I searched tweakvista.com for logon related stuff and came up with the same stuff. It looks like I'm SOL for removing the logo 🙁

Have a look at this registry key:

Secpol.msc does not exist in the home versions of Vista. But basically secpol.msc is just another GUI for registry settings.
All settings regarding UAC can be found in the registry at:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Policies\System.

Somewhere one of those keys should be able to do what you want ... Backup your registry first
or write down what you change and what it was before you changed it

Also, now I know for sure, not to buy any version other than
Ultimate if you want all the features
