Remove pads on Tbird CPU?

I just got my Tbird 800 yesterday. I noticed there are 4 little pads on it, one in each corner. Should I leave them there or remove them? I'm going to be using an Alpha PAL 6035 for cooling

if you remove them your heatsinc will probably crush the core(not good) leave them on.

leave those small pads on, unless you planning to use a copper shim...

leave them unless you want a nice little hunk of plastic to use as a coaster...
