Remove Microsoft word 2000 for HTML editing?

I dont want to use MSword 2000 for my HTML editor. How would i go about so when i click edit it doesnt open MSword and opens Notepad??

open explorer. like in control panel or windows explorer, not internet explorer. choose tools, folder options, then file types. Find where .html is registered and delete it. now when you double click an html file it will let you choose a new file to associate it with.
