Remove Empty Directories App???

Hi.

My little compulsion to get new apps presented again. As usual, I delved re best freewares sites, found this, Remove Empty Directories, Red. So I got it, ran it, it found tons of things. But I do not wanna mess myself up letting it remove things, cause I have a history of doing that.

Anyone familiar with this app?

I will not let it do diddly until I hear back. I mean it.()🙂

Thanks in advance.

I tried, I truly did. I have a complusion/addiction:$. So I tried, but I just couldn't wait more. So, I ran it again and this time, let it remove things! Was VERY FUN watching it. Felt as if I was doing good for the system!

So far, nothing blew up, but I must reboot to see if something got messed up. But, I am leaving what it removed in the Bin.....cause if necessary, I could just hit restore re the hundreds of folders it removed.

Edit! I rebooted, was able to use Revosleep normally to put my backup drive to sleep; as of now, nothing appears messed up!

Just maybe, this is an AWESOME FREEWARE everyone should get and try!!!!

If those 483 empty directories were, in fact, junk, is this not fabulous, this thing?

Edit: Just ran it again, it got rid of 13 more!!!!

And, I read the guy's page, he is Real Deal! Meticulous. Which is why people send hm money which surprises him! and I might be the enxt one to do that if nothing is, as it appears....messed up.

NOT SNAKE OIL! Almost positive.

Harmless empty directories are just that - harmless.
Not sure why anyone would take the chance using automated software to remove them. This is similar to removing unused registry entries. It's like removing grains of sand from a beach and expecting a difference.

Sorry, I like it! Never said harmful......I see them as not necessary glut.

Grains add up over time.()🙂

I like being lean and fit; I like my systems to be the same. Good housekeeping is never wrong:

Empty directory folders are annoying, but not often a cause for great concern. Still, they build up over time, and Remove Empty Directories is a smart and fast solution. The tiny program greets you with a mostly blank pane and an icon key to understanding your results. There's a dialog box at the top to specify a particular folder or drive to search, although by default it checks your C drive.
