Removable Media Eraser Software

Does anyone know of a decent software that can completely erase removable media like SONY memory stick that is also free?

Can't you just use win xp to do that and format the stick?
I dont know for sure.

I tried formatting but the deleted photos still shows up when using data recovery softwares.

Eraser should be able to do something to it.
(It gives a server-busy error as of the time of this posting; should work soon though.)
