Remotely see what services failed to start

Is there a way to remotely see what services on a server are set to automatic but have failed to start? (Aside from checking services?) I'm looking to create a script that will report this but haven't really found anything.
 
All I can think of is right clicking on My Computer, Manage and right click Computer Management > Connect to Another Computer

You could see the services that way if you had the proper permissions/accounts setup.
