Remotely located PC

Dilemma here...I need to build a new PC, problem is I don't have the space with my current PC being a full tower and my tinyass livingroom. My entire downstairs is also on one breaker and it's not uncommon to flip it so don't want to run two PCs on the same breaker.

What I would like to do is somehow figure out a way to put my tower upstairs while using the PC downstairs...that is monitor, keyboard and mouse. I'm sure there are wireless monitor adapters out there, but what about kb and mouse? I don't think bluetooth would work because it'd be probably 20 feet away. I currently do have USB wireless KB and mouse but the range is less than 5 ft.

Open to suggestions, or perhaps any other options that will allow me to use my PC at my desk while it is located elsewhere.

edit: I forgot about speakers too 😛

rather than all that mess why not run new power wires to your place?!

else buy a laptop .
it's going to be very frustrating keeping PC downstairs.

You could run extension cables for the monitor keyboard and mouse through the wall.

You could use the current PC to drive the on in the attic with Remote Desktop. Several solutions there.

1. What is the primary role of PC?
2. How much space do you exactly have?
3. Is a VESA mountable PC workable? VESA mounts hide behind the monitor / HDTV.
4. You can most definitely get away with a ITX type system, with a low voltage dual core, if your not required to do any heavy gaming or cpu activities.

A single-GPU ITX system is definitely possible. It'll handle all but the most demanding gaming situations.
