I am struggling with an issue on how to do this.

We have a Juniper Network. To connect to it we invoke Network Connect but it's started via browser, once logged in you can start NC and get on the VPN.

With W7, I can put the computer on the domain, restart, log in locally start Juniper and Network Connect, switch user and log in with my Domain account and it will create the profile.

As far as I can tell, with Windows XP, we can't do much. Is there a client I can load before logging into Windows XP? Any ideas on how to approach this? We struggle with this issue today with remote users and new remote offices.

We don't use our Juniper for VPN, but they have a feature similar to Cisco's SBL that will allow the VPN client to logon first, prior to the login screen coming up. With Network Connect, you could either use the GINA option, or it appears they have a feature called "Network Connect Connect at Log Off" that allows them to connect when logged in as a local admin, and then keeps the tunnel open after they log off, allowing them to connect to the domain with the new profile.

Here is info on the GINA option, but you may want to reference Juniper manuals for more technical/configuration specific info for your product:
