I'm currently running the alternative Xming client (with the mesa binaries included) on some XP machines, to run a client/program which makes use of OpenGL.
When in a tab, within the client, that does not use opengl, things run blazing fast...might as well be the local machine, really.
However, any tab within the client/program (custom program for medical applications) that makes use of opengl (lung airway or vascular rendering, for example), things get slow. Not unusable, but pretty damn irritatingly slow. This is also the case if I run anything with opengl (testing screensavers, for example).
Are there any remote X clients, for windows, that make native/better use of OpenGL acceleration than a software emulator (as with Xming/mesa...as I understand it)?
