Remote Wonder Installation

Don't know why, I cannot get the remote wonder software to install. Hooked up to my media computer, using an EPIA-M10000 board and a Hauppauge PVR-250 tuner, recently after a thrashing by spyware crap I decided it was time to blow everything away and reload XP. Did that, put on all the Windows updates, all latest drivers, bios, software for the motherboard & tuner card.

But the remote wonder software will not install, saying the .dll files fail to register. I'm at a loss, and am throwing it out here. Are there past drivers available somewhere maybe?

Have you any other software like Antivirus that might stop such drivers installing?
Have you installed DX [not sure, but sometimes that is needed for vid stuff]?
Are you logged in as admin?

Installing that on an EPIA computer would render it useless... hence, no, only background app is the MS scheduling stuff so the tv tuner timer works.

dx9 is installed automatically with XP SP2

yes

BIOS update?
Latest chipset drivers?

Try disconnecting all non-essential hw, or disabling them in control panel.
Go into MSCONFIG and disable all non essential startup items.

Try again
