Remote Web Access constantly updating WHS2011

My server remote web access is constantly stuck on updating. When i try to access the server remotely, say from work or from my phone, my homeserver.com address won't load. When I get home, I find that the server remote web access page in the dashboard is stuck on updating, and I have to reconfigure router settings etc. Any ideas or thoughts?
