Remote starter antenna question.

My windsheild has a 6inche tint (fatory done), and i was wondering when I install my remote start antenna under that tint, will it effect the range in any way?

 
If it did at all, it would be a very small amount. Not enough to worry about, unless you plan to remote start from 1/4 mile away.

The remote starter I got has a 1.25mile range. So yeah, I plan on starting the car from far away. 😉
