Does anyone know if there is any software that has been created/altered to use the WinTV IR remote for programs other than just WinTV applications. I figure it can't be too hard to modify what they have already made.

Okay, well, like always, as soon as I get around to asking a question I finally find the answer myself. If anyone has one of the Hauppauge cards with a remote and you want to use the remote control to start other programs all you have to do is eddit the irremote.ini file in c:\windows. You can pretty much figure out what to enter by just looking at other command entries in there. Good luck and have fun!
