I am having two problems with remote profiles. We here have a Windows 2000 Server and most clients are Windows XP.
The first one is that some of my users, after deleting some files from my documents, they log out. When they log back in the files reappear at the same location. Does anyone know what cause this problem and how to fix it?
The second problem I am having deals with what appears to be a specific machine. The user will logon at another workstation (not her main machine), the profile will be copied to the machine she is on. When she logs off, of course it is then copied back to the server. If she logs on to another machine (other than her main machine) the profile will be copied and all is fine. However if she logs back onto her main machine, her profile is not updated. Essentially the profile is not updated ONLY on that machine, all other machines it seems to work fine. Does anyone know what causes this issue and how to fix it? Thanks in advance.
