Remote Procedure Call (RPC) ?? WTF HELP! PLZ

Hey guys!

I have a big problem with my Windows XP. Sometimes while im surfing on the internet, I have this error that appear and force me to reboot my computer:

"This system is shutting down. Please save all work in progress and log off. Any unsaved changes will be lost. This shutdown was initiated by NT Authority\System

Windows must now restart because the Remote Procedure Call (RPC) service terminated unexpectedly"

Anyone know what's the problem??

Seems like this forum will soon be flooded with this svc thing. I had the same porbs. But I mistakenly disabled the service so no my computer is barely running without a lot of features even though I stopped the shut downs. But that isnt the way to go. THere is a patch released by microsoft (sorry I can no longer copy n paste) that might fix this. Mean while, I need help on enabling the SCVservice. If I type services.msc, I get a blank screen on the "extended" tab. Help plz.
