remote login problems

I was remotely logged into my desktop from my laptop when I decided to disable the wireless adapter on my desktop (i had a reason for this).

later i re-enabled my desktop (its online and everything) but I can't remote login to it anymore.

it keeps saying

"the client could not connect. you are already connected to the console of this computer. a new console session cannot be established."

i restarted both computers and still have the same problem.

help please.
 
I'm assuming you are using RDC?
I've seen this before - your session is stuck. When this happens I have to log into another server - connect Terminal Services Manager and "connect" to that PC. Then you can reset your session.
