Remote log in W7Ultimate rig on domain

Hi guys,

A small but annoying problem.
We have machine connected to a large monitor, which we want to use to display statistics etc. My problem is that I cannot figure out to remote control it. I can RDP to it fine, but that means that it shows its desktop on my rig. I do not want this.

If I log in to it and connects to it with RDP with the same user, it logs me off locally.

How do I do this? I use VNC at home. Is there no way to do this with RDP?

Yeah, I know. I use TightVNC at home.
I would like to avoid having to install a viewer on each administrator's machine.
Oh, well. Luckily TightVNC is lightweight.
