Not getting much love on the Software side, so I figure I try my luck here -

I'm tired of getting up after every eps. of Naruto to skip to the next episode and skip the intro. Is there some sort of windows media player remote? Only pda I have is a palm Vx but I don't mind investing some money for a remote that I use with my laptop. PocketPC might but that's way too expensive for moi ...

Yes, the ATI remote does wonders (radio so it doesn't have to be pointed towards the laptop). Although, you can probably also get an IR remote for cheaper and use Girder (also free).

 
Unless it is like the Creative remote, where it has its own drivers, don't go for IR.
The ATi Remote Wonder is great. Use Girder or one of a few Winamp plugins and you're set.
