I stream Netflix from a pc to my TV.
Is there a way to use a remote for pause/rr/ff?
I use Vista Home as my OS.

Any media center remote will work. Once you have the USB receiver, any programmable IR remote will work (e.g. Logitech Harmony).

If you already use something like the harmony, just focus on any remote with a receiver of the size/shape that you like (the remote will rarely/never be used). They all work pretty much the same. You'll spend $5 to $20.

Any reason you don't pickup a cheap streamer like a Roku or one of those Sony hubs for $40? You'll get as good, if not better picture quality and a fully functional remote to flip through the On-Demand catalog.

I'd rather spend a bit more on that than a hackjob remote setup.

Never used those products and I am unsure what they do and their limitations.
With my PC/TV combo, I know exactly what it can and can't do. Plus, the PC on my TV is my only desktop.
