Hey, this is stupid to ask but i am having trouble getting remote desktop working.
I have looked at all of the setting and i can't find my mistake. Do you know of anything that i might have over looked

http://www.komando.com has tips on getting that working but something like Ultr@VNC or similar might do you better. GotoMyPC is also mucho easier but there is a monthly subscription fee for that. You can get a free trial via the Komando site.

Make sure "Allow users to connect remotely to this computer" is checked under the "Remote" tab of the system properties

Make sure you have at least one account listed under the user group - please note that if your account is Admin then it can connect.

Make sure that your account has a password

If you have a firewall (software/hardware/both) then be sure port 3389 is not blocked.

If you have a router then be sure to port forward TCP port 3389 to the computer you want to connect to.

That's really all there is to it. If you want to use Remote Desktop Web Connection then there is a bit more work since you have to install and configure IIS.

I'm not sure why Zepper would recommend using something other than Remote Desktop since Remote Desktop is a great app and very secure.
