Remote desktop

is there a program i can download which will allow a "simple" remote desktop connection? what i mean by simple is, i have the host program running, and when the client opens up the .exe file, i'll be able to remotely control their computer.

I know a free remote desktop connection. It's very easy to use, but I don't know about simple connection. It's called Logmein. It's a cool little program, but you have to install it on all your comps that you want to remote desktop.

Logmein is a great solution - particularly to check machines from work if the usual Remote Desktop ports are being blocked

To the Op: i'm not sure there is a solution that fits your exact needs - have you already looked into Remote Assistance, Remote Desktop and the VNC variants?

I'm not aware of a free solution that doesn't require admin/install rights.

i guess i should have made this a little clearer the first time. 😱

i'm looking for a "hacking" type program. i'd like for the user to just open the program without doing anything more and i'd be able to view their screen. :evil:

if you know what you're doing, it wouldn't take much time modifying something like UltraVNC to accomplish this goal.
