Remote desktop?

I can connect with remote desktop from my WindowsXP home to my WindowsXP pro. But not pro to home. Is it possible? Or do I need pro on both?
 
What am I doing wrong? It only works from the home to the pro and I want it the other way around.
 
I don't know if you're willing to try a slightly alternative solution, but you could grab VNC and use it on any Windows (or Linux, or I think even Mac) box for remote usage. Like I said, might not be what you're looking for, but I'm just giving a suggestion.
 
Yea, you can connect to XP Pro from any windows system with the Remote Desktop client, but you cant connect to an XP Home box.

XP Home is XP Pro with several features 'missing', Remote Desktop Access being one of them.

As stated above, if needed, you could try something like VNC or variants there of.
 
oh sorry i was thinking about USING MSN MESSAGNER and using the option for others to see your desktop :/ common miskate.
