Remote Desktop won't allow connection after SP3?

They upgraded my work PC to SP3 last week, and now I am unable to connect from home.

Anyone know if this is a known issue with SP3? Any fix?

Does the machine have a Nvidia card, and was the driver updated? There are issues with RDP and the latest Nvidia driver.

Are you able to ping the machine from wherever you are trying to connect?

It could be something as simple as the IP changed after the reboot of SP3 installation. If you are unable to ping, try hardcoding the IP/hostname of the destination PC into the host file on the origination PC.

The client could not connect to the remote computer. Remote connections might not be enabled or the computer might be too busy to accept new connections. It is also possible that network problems are preventing your connection. Please try your connection again later. If the problem continues to occur, contact your administrator.

i have the above error when trying to remote desktop. I tried this solution, I had to go to start, run, the type in cmd, once in the command prompt type services.msc, a new screen will appear and under terminal servies right click it and click on start.

but it still does not works.

any ideas?

Thanks
