Remote Desktop Web

I have remote desktop web installed. My home network (All WinXP pro) is behind a router. I have setup one of the PC on the router for port 3389... From a remote location behind a proxy server (on win NT 4) I have gotten to the "Remote Desktop Web" screen to be able to log on to my home network. I put the IP of the computer in and click connect and it keeps giving me "The remote connection has timed out. Please try again" I can connect to the computer from within my home network.

Anyone have any clue as to what is wrong?

sounds like the issue is with the proxy server end of things. Have you been able to do remote assistance with anyone else on the internet?

That would confirm that your router is not the hangup. Shoot me a PM if you want to give it a try later on tonight, 2 hours from now.

Could it be that I am trying to connect from a machine that I am logged on to via a domain controller and my home one is not?
