Hi I'm new to this forum and I bring with me a problem which I am unsure has a solution.
I use the remote desktop application with 2 desktops with no problem except that I have a specific need which isn't being provided with the standard setup. Basically I just want to be able to maintain the view of the host machine on the monitor it uses without logging it out as soon as the remote connection is established.
The reason for this being that I have 1 desktop that is connected to my TV and Stereo which i wish to use for playing movies and music. I don't particularly want to have a keyboard and mouse laying around since the the tower is positioned next to the TV and it would be awkward to use. I have successfully setup the ability to control this desktop from my main client PC but as soon as I connect remotely it logs out the host and obviously the TV just shows the log in screen..
Is there any way to maintain the picture and sound on the host end while still connecting with the client? If not then is there a way so that after disconnecting the client PC the host will automatically log back into windows?
Thanks guys.. i appreciate any help you may have!
