Remote Desktop Software with Audio

Here's hoping one of you smart guys at Anandtech has a solution to this problem. I need a piece of software that will allow me to remote to another computer and share the screen, rather than just open a new session, so no RDP. I also need one that will pass audio from the remote PC back to the source PC so I can hear a alarm that may go off on the remote PC.

I have found several lists of Remote Desktop Software, but most that say they have audio only support it through chat or something like that.

Anybody know of software that will do the audio and shared desktop, but not require a huge server side piece like Citrix's Xen App?
 
I think TeamViewer will do what you want. If you set up the other PC to host a Meeting with Full Interaction turned on, it will share all audio / video / etc. that goes on.

EDIT: Kind of a buried option, so here's how to get to it:

ScreenConnect will send audio, but it does require a server installation. Nothing big though... 2MB install to download, 5 minute install & setup, and a free trial to test it out. They charge by concurrent connection. $300 per connection (any technician/user controlling a remote computer is 1 connection), or $3,000 for unlimited connections to/from that server.

You can use Remote Utilities' remote camera mode for this purpose. Run the Remote Camera mode and disable capturing remote video whilst leaving the audio on. Select the audio device to grab the sound from sound card (not from microphone).

That should work, I guess. And btw, the program is free for personal use.
