remote desktop resolution

Is remote desktop limited to 1600x1200, both my desktop and laptop have 1900x1200 and I would like to run the remote sessions at that res but it appears that it wont go above uxga, is there anyway to get around that limitation or would I have to use another program (logmein, vnc...)

TightVNC would be your best bet to keep your resolution, but your RDP app doesn't allow you to explicitly set your resolution based on your systems offered resolutions?

If I click fulscreen then it just leaves a 1600x1200 with borders and makes it fulscreen (like watchign 4:3 tv on a 16:10 screen).
