Remote Desktop Questions

So i'm using the Vanilla remo-desktop that came with XP. Once connected to my PC from my laptop, it logs out the PC, Is there a way to configure it so it does not do that??

TIA

The only way to keep it from doing that is to RDP with the same user account. Say the remote machine is already logged in with JoeBlow. Well if you remote in using the same JoeBlow account, it won't log the current user out.

Normally it does not log out the current user, it just locks the session at the host end. If you disconnect instead or doing a logoff at the session end, you can unlock the host system and you are still logged in.

Yeah, XP Pro is limited to one active session at a time. Sux. Server 2003/2008 can have multiple users logged in via RDP simultaneously and share desktops.
