Remote Desktop question...

I have a Windows 2003 server, and I have it set to log in automatically for various reasons. When I connect to it using RD it logs the user in again thereby RErunning all the startup programs. How can I connect to the current user's screen rather than logging it in again?

No. XP only has the console logon. Servers have 3: 2 Terminal Server (does NOT display the actual server screen), and 1 console (displays the actual server screen, w/ error popups, etc...)

You can use Remote Assistance (in the Help and Support center) to share the console session in WinXP. However, that requires the active participation of the user physically at the console.
