Remote Desktop Only Works Using Port 3389

I've got 2 machines I want to control remotely. The first one I can get to through the firewall using port 3389. However, I can't get to the 2nd machine using any other port, including 3388 or 3390. I have tested the remote connection within the network, and it works fine. It just doesn't work through another port.

Any ideas on how to overcome this issue?

Thanks in advance for your help.

The remote desktop service only listens on 3389 by default, simply sending traffic to it on another port will not get you to the remote desktop connection.

If your firewall is capable of forwarding the 3390 traffic to 3389 on the server than you should be able to set it up without reconfiguring the client. If your firewall is not capable of that than you will need to change the port that the service listens on (should be a reg key if memory serves, do a search on Google).

No offense Leeym but I've seen you do a lot of posts the past few days that lead me to belive that you're in way over your head. Please take your time and learn about the services you're supporting else you will set yourself up for some major problems in the future. Just focus on one at a time as well, you're not going to speed up your absorbtion rate by jumping all over the place.
