I have a small home server that runs 2k server, winmx, ftp and mail. The only thing is, I'd rather not have to use up all the desk space for a monitor keyboard and mouse. I know I could use a KVM switch, but I'd rather not go that route. What I want to do, is to just be able to login remotely from my main rig on the local lan to do the occasional tweak, restart, whatever. I was thinking PCanywhere would be the right tool for this...any other suggestions?

UltraVNC with the updated mirror driver. LINK

I use it on my headless (no monitor, mouse, or KB) server/backup system running W2K Pro.

Nice, this sounds like exactly what I'm looking for. Appears to be freeware to boot! Thanks!

Ah, for some reason I thought that was only in 2k3. Either way I might end up installing pro anyway, freeware antivirus software won't install on server OSes. Gotta decide whether I need any of the extra stuff server offers.
