Remote Desktop Linux Box from a WinXp?

Just wondering if it is possible to do a remote Desktop on a WinXP machine of a Linux box?

Basic access a Linux Machine from a Windows machine with GUI and all.

I've actually have used it over 33.6Kb/s-to-ISDN speeds over the internet and it was quite usable with a 800x600 16bit Gnome desktop. Very fast and has adjustments to adapt it to different bandwidth.

VNC is the simplest solution. But if you want you can just run most X apps remotely once you install an X server on Windows.

Ya.... VNC was originally created specificly to allow people on Windows desktops to access multiuser unix/linux systems.

Don't run a VNC server without encryption!!!!!

It's best to run VNC through tunneling software such as SSH!
