I am attempting to set this up now that I have my new laptop. My problem is with the username and password that is asked for after connecting to my server computer. I don't know what this is. I have tried all the passwords and such that I know, but it does not work. Where is this setting so I can reset it?

The error I am receiving is
"the system is unable to log you on. Make sure your username and domain are correct."

How do I check what these are? And reset them? I am using XP PRO as the system I am trying to remotely access using a laptop with xp MCE.
 
Whatever your user name is on your XP Pro computer is what you'd type in. If you don't have a user name with a password, it won't work. You can go into Control Panel, Users, then create a user account there.
