I had a few football players on my floor in the dorms. They were big guys and a lot of them would push people around a bit, not really bullying but kinda.

They asked me to work on their system for them, one was having a few issues, so I installed remote VNC and also fixed his issue. I also set it to lock out the keyboard and mouse when i log in.

So a few days later I login while the guy is talking with his GF and tell her she is a skanky ho, and break up with her for him. I hear him bellowing down the hall about it, but he couldnt figure out what was happening.

Later on I told the football players that while they may be bigger and stronger, I let them know that if they f!@#$ with me/friends again I had enough power to remove homework files, spoof emails, and ran down a list that left them scared, even though most of it was untrue.

Our floor never had a problem with them again :) Of course I was one of the bigger geeks on the floor (6'2 195lbs, in good shape back then) but it was more for fun than anything :p

Those were the feasible things... I spoofed an email to the dean under someone's e-mail address once... that was kinda funny

They could easily report you to the school for misuse of network resources as well as file lawsuits against you if you do happen to destroy their data.

Look for porn of the girlfriends.

That wasn't cool at all. They should have whooped your rearend. If you had a problem with them you could file a report with proper folks on campus to straighten them. You don't have the right to install things on people's computers to mess with them. Jerk offs like you are the just like companies Bonzi Buddy and Gator, not to mention the thousands whose identity have been stolen because some lowlife installed something on a computer for wrong reasons. You are worse than them, clown

Yea good day to you :p
This idiot broke several federal laws by doing what he did and I bet he broke some state laws as well. Even the police have to get a warrant signed by a judge to wire tap communications. Thats one law he broke. Two, threat of erasing data is a terroristic threat. Three he used the illegally installed program to impersonate the person. It doesn't matter he just messed with the guy's girlfriend he impersonated someone else. I can stop there. This genius is looking at no less than 3 years in prison easily.
