Remote Desktop Frequently Disconnects

I am running remote desktop with sp2 on the host. SMC ABR7004 router and Trend Micro Internet Security Firewall. I used a reg hack to use a port other than 3889. No other app is using the port. I get very frequent disconnects while using RD on my wireless network. Sometimes after less than a minute of use... Any ideas here?
