I have a computer that I would like to use to control three remote computers. I have followed the steps to setup the settings between the central command computer and the remote computers but I still can not even get beyond starting up the single connection.
All computers are on the same router (Central Command Computer is connected wirelessly)
I have set the logged-in user of each computer to be member of Remote Connection user
All computers are running Windows XP Pro
I open the Remote Desktop Connection in Communications group of Accessories and there's a drop down menu of "Browse for more" message. Inside, I see my workgroup called WORKGROUP in which all the computers are part of but when I double click on it to list the computers, it says "The WORKGROUP domain/workgroup does not contain any Terminal servers."
How do I go about setting up a terminal server on each of the remote computers? Should I just abandon Microsoft's approach and use that TightVNC software which would probably be simplier? Any advice is greatly appreciated. Thanks!
