i am able to get remote desktop working using an internal ip address 192.168.2.3 but i can't get remote desktop to work outside the network.

i forwarded port 3389 to internal port 80 on computer 192.168.2.3 but i can't seem to connect from outside. i have a cable modem so i set up a dyndns url but i am at a wits end. (btw what address should i type into the remote desktop when connecting from outside, is it http://*******.blogdns.org:80 or is it :3889 or is it neither) i also tried using a browser window an when i type in http://******.blogdns.org:80/tsweb/ i get a blank page with one fill in box.

please help

Port 80 is most likely blocked by your ISP

you do not access remote desktop with a browser, but with the remote destop client, which uses port 3389. in your router you need to forward port 3389 to the IP of the target machine and specify port 3389

Your trying to configure BOTH the tsweb and remote desktop. You need to forward 3389 to 3389 AND 80 to 80. Not 3389 to 80. And unless you need the tsweb stuff (you probably don't) just forward 3389 to 3389 and use the RDP client remotely.
