Remote Connection....

I have a HTPC in the basement of the house right now, and i do not have a TV in my Bedroom. Is there anyway for me to take Remote Control of that computer via the Home Network and control it from my computer upstairs (Essentially giving me TV in my bedroom)?

Edit: Ok so i am using the mediacenter PC from my computer upstairs. However, it is very slow when playing back any sort of video. Is there any way to increase the speed/performance to a level where i can watch video almost like normal? (I CAN set up a Gigabit LAN)

Yup. I'd try enabling remote controll or remote desktop (can't remember which) in windows. Though I'm not sure that would do what you want.
I do know that PcAnywhere will do what you want.

Remote desktop is working 🙂 (Always cool when you find something new to mess around with on the computer). Right now the Mediacenter PC is encoding and burning a DVD, so everything is really slow.

If it is still slow afterwards, would running a Gigabit connection instead of the 10/100 connection be beneficial?
