I'm thinking about getting one for my wife's van, but I'm not much of a car mechanic 😀 Will it be fairly easy to install? What are the good brands?

Got a "free" install from Best Buy a few years ago for a Valet 551T. I don't mind doing stuff myself, but that looks like a pain. They had a helluva time finding one particular wire, so I'm glad I didn't mess with it.
