here's the problem, i have a standard wired router that handles dhcp and everything else for the network...but i wanted to add wireless capability as well so i went ahead and snagged a wireless router...problem is since it's not my default router i can't get to it's administration page using 192.168.1.1 since that points to the wired router

any ideas?

You'll have to plug directly into the router and change it's IP. Then place the router back on to the network and access the admin page via the new IP.

You are having issues with conflicting DHCP servers. Set your WAP to have a static IP address inside your current range and disable its DHCP server.

Change the IP. Odds are both are fighting over the same IP. Is everything disabled on the wireless router? (DHCP, ect) Any reason your sticking with the BEFW11S4? Why not just move to the wireless router?

set the wireless ip to 192.168.1.2 or something
than turn off everything on the wireless router other than the wireless part

make sure dhcp is off on the wireless one

same setup I use now :)
