I havew a home network setup, and i am using W2K Server, I have installed the tsweb software for 2K, and I have forwarded ports 3389 and 80 to the internal ip address of the server, but for some reason when I try and access it from outside the home. I get to the sign in page, but then it tells me I cannot connect tothe remote computer. Any suggestions?

First off you only need to forward port 3389. Second to answer your question you need to grant dial-in rights to the user account you are signing in with.

Ok I will re-phase what I said because I termed it wrong...more towards VPN...sorry. Are you running a domain or a stand alone server? What you need to do is go to the user acount properties under the remote tab and verify that the user account you are trying to TS in with has remote control access rights.

PS...You might want to consider setting up a VPN into your server and then TS over that VPN connection Its a more secure way of accessing your server.

Few Questions:

1.) are you able to bring up the web page and the TS Web Interface?
2.) What address are you trying to connect to when you are in the TS Web interface?
3.) is TS Web and the TS Server on the same server?
4.) Does TS work when you are at home from another machine?
