Remington 700 ADL combo for $359.96

Cabela's catalog came in the mail last week, Great Outdoor Sale runs Aug 21st-Sept 5th and says the sale is specific to their Owatonna Minnesota location. (but I'd say check other Cabelas location in other states since they might be running a similar sale)

One deal that looks fairly decent is for a Remington 700 ADL rifle for $359.96

-following versions available: .270 Win. , .30-06, .270 Win. Youth Model
-synthetic stock, metal is blued
-comes with Cabela Pine Ridge 3-9*40 matte scope mounted on Leupold Rifleman bases and rings.
-limit two per customer
-per ad normal price is $576.96

In addition I received a separate mailing from Cabelas for a grand opening cash card.
By activating the card prior to Oct 1st and spending between $100-500 you get money added to the card. (100-199 get $25, 200-299 get $50, 300-399 get $75, 400-499 get $100, over 500 get $150)

In and of itself the rifle combo is a good deal but combined with the cash card I think it is pretty hot.

No, only stainless guns in the catalog were blackpowder rifles.

Wal-Mart sells the 700 ADL for like $379 I think. I don't think it comes with a scope though.

That is a very good price.

I manage a sporting goods store that sells that rifle for $338, every once in a while for $298. The 700 ADL is being discontinued by Remington , thats why you are seeing good deals on it. If the rings are the turn style, its around $45 for the base and rings. I am sure the scope is a cheapie but its still a great deal, the regular retail is inflated though.

The store I manage is B@M only, we have great deals often. We beat Walmarts price on Remington's 870 Express by $30.00 + every day ($199.00) We are located only in the south and south east. I am sure most of the forum members are not in this area but I can post deals when they come up if it's ok.
