Hi guys;
With the launch of Windows 8 later this week, we wanted to quickly remind everyone of the ground rules for Operating Systems and other technical forums.
In short, this is a technical forum; so our primary goal is to encourage meaningful technical discussion. A lot of you have very strong opinions on Windows 8 and that's fine. But we have to ask that you air your opinions (and grievances) in the right place at the right time. If it's a technical thread about Windows 8 - particularly a question/help thread - then a "Windows 8 sucks" response probably isn't going to be appropriate. Or in other words, please don't thread crap in the technical/help threads.
Note that this hasn't been a problem thus far, but we'd like to be sure it's kept that way. We saw a few too many unhelpful responses back in the Windows Vista days, which is something we'd like to avoid.
-Thanks
ViRGE
