yep anyone who jumped on that sears deal ( or any dc deal for that matter) better go register for their $50 bonus... its a no go after today. heres another quick rundown-
call 1-800-688-8460 and set up a new account
make sure to specify its for the $50 deal (they wont take any billing info). don't sign up online, you can't get the deal that way.

after you're done there you have to log onto http://bonus.sega.com with your dreamcast to finish the deal.

its a pretty quick ordeal, and they never take a credit card number.
actually they just ask you the amount and date of purchase of the dreamcast- so they seem pretty easy to work with for the whole deal.
nothing needs to be mailed in...
so get a callin :)

dunno, while they seem pretty lax in they way they check, im not going to say one way or another. you could get screwed or get lucky. although by doing so you'd be blatantly tricking them.

no actually it isnt sears only.. that was one of the bigger motivators for the sears deal though. but its not store specific. you could pretty much have picked one up from any store :)
