My dad and mom live 15 minutes down the road... and I see them every 2 or 3 days when I go visit my doggie...

You'll especially appreciate this when he's gone. My Dad's been dead for 8 years now. It's still hard, I dream about him all the time. If you're not on good terms with him, make up if possible. I had my ups and downs with him when I was a teen and into my 20's, but eventually I realized that he was right and I was just foolhardy and young.
Hey, I thought that was just me and my dad!!!

😉

so that makes you like 50. and he still tries to give you money?

wtf you smoking? my dad will be 73 in a few days, and i'm only 24 years old... 😕

Is your dad the Juice Master guy, he's like 80 and has a 8 year old kid. Your dad had you when he was 59? Thats is unusual and it is not unfair to assume his dad was about 27 when he was born, so don't ask me if I was smoking anything. Jerk.

My dad don't have a phone.

He's in Vietnam.

Litterly, no phone, no running water, no electricity.

Close, I'm 46. My wife and I make 5 times what he makes with his retirement, but he has a size-able nest-egg.

He's trying to give me my inheritance early. I really don't know what to do without causing a big argument. So far I've been able to put him off.
